A committee person for the Ashburton Agricultural and Pastoral Association Brian works with all the interests of sport at the show grounds of Ashburton.

Merran Blake

Merran is a business person with a retail outlet in Geraldine.
Merran’s sporting interests include Basketball and her hobbies include travelling and reading.

Mike Southby

Mike is a consulting engineer who practices in Ashburton.
Cricket is a strong sport for Mike and his involvement with the Trust brings his experience in the construction industry

Chris Robertson

Chris is a solicitor in practice in Ashburton. His interests focus on his family activities of swimming, rugby, netball and basketball. He is currently on the shareholder’s committee of Electricity Ashburton and was formally on the Board of the Ashburton Community Pool.

Maurice Myers

(Chair.) Maurice is Principal of a large Ashburton accounting firm.
Swimming is Maurice’ main interest and he serves on the Board of the Ashburton Community Pool.

Sheena Tyrrell

Sheena is Management Administrator to the Principals and Board of Trustees at Ashburton College. Sheena's principal sport is netball. Her current key role is as one of six New Zealand Umpire Panel members for Netball New Zealand.
Additionally Sheena is a member of the Canterbury Netball Region's Umpire Advisory Group.
Sheena's knowledge of her sport is widely known and has encompassed playing, umpiring, theory, practical examination and administration at all levels.
Her input has been recognised by Life Membership of the Waimate and Ashburton Netball Umpires' Associations and of Mid Canterbury Netball.
Sheena is also a Netball New Zealand Service Award holder and was recently awarded, the Robilliard Trophy for services to netball.

Gary Casey

Gary is General Manager of Ashburton Contracting Limited a large local civil engineering firm and has club and family interests in local sport.
Gary is also a Trustee of the Ashburton Tennis Centre; Convener of the Ashburton Children’s Athletic Association and has an added interest in indoor basketball.
